MINING IN MEXICO — PROJECT ROUNDUP — Azco exploring pair of

Two large porphyry copper-oxide projects belonging to Azco Mining (VSE), Piedras Verdes and Suaqui Verde, both in the Mexican state of Sonora, are candidates for development using solvent extraction, electrowinning technology.

Azco recently completed the second phase of a 4-phase exploration and development program on the Piedras Verdes project. As a result of the drilling, Azco believes a previous estimate of about 105 million tons grading 0.33% copper is too conservative.

The drilling returned in-situ copper-oxide grades averaging between 0.45% and 0.50% copper. The third phase of development, expected to start shortly, will include an 80-100 hole drill program.

A limited amount of previous work on the Suaqui Verde project outlined a mineral inventory of about 30 million tons grading 0.32% copper which appears to be amenable to acid leaching.
