Recent drilling by partners KWG Resources (ME) and SEG Exploration (ME) on their Granada property near Rouyn-Noranda, Que., has returned greater widths and better continuity of mineralization than previously indicated. The companies have recently completed five drill holes on the No. 1 vein system from which a 29,000-ton bulk sample was extracted earlier this year.
Significant drill results include 56 ft. grading 0.33 oz. gold per ton in hole 93-152, and 21.7 ft. grading 0.13 oz. gold. Most of the new intersections are located below the extracted bulk sample.
To date, about 80% of the bulk sample (23,000 tons) has been processed at the nearby Manitou mill yielding a total of 4,151 oz. gold.
The companies report that two machines are currently drilling on the property.
