The 1992 Nevada Excellence in Mining Reclamation Award was presented recently to USMX at the Nevada Mining Association’s annual meeting. The award is jointly sponsored by Nevada, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management and the U.S.D.A. Forest Service.
USMX says the award recognizes reclamation work at the Green Springs mine and environmental efforts in the Alligator Ridge area at the Casino/Winrock and Yankee mines.
