East West explores Quebec prospect

A program of grid cutting and electromagnetic (EM) surveys is under way on the Casa Berardi property of East West Resource (VSE) in northwestern Quebec.

The company says that the EM surveys are being conducted to locate the extensions of a gold-bearing massive sulphide zone on a neighboring property held by Glen Auden Resources (VSE) and Cross Lake Minerals (VSE). The auriferous massive sulphide zone is similar to the horizon that hosts the Eagle mine near Joutel, Que.

A follow-up program of diamond drilling is scheduled to begin shortly. East West is earning a 50% interest in the property from Cross Lake.
