Altai acquires more Peruvian prospects

Toronto-listed Altai Resources has acquired two new copper projects in Peru.

The Achanizo deposit, in Caraveli province, contains seven known veins which range from 300 to 1,200 ft. in length and average 1.5-4.5 ft. in width. Mineralization consists of copper oxides and carbonates with an average grade of 2.64% copper. The 700-acre concession is owned by Altai del Peru, a wholly owned subsidiary of Altai.

The other property, known as Shunshuco, comprises 2,500 acres in Ferrenate province and is near the Granja and Canaraico copper deposits. The junior plans to explore both properties this spring.
