A new zone of copper-zinc sulphide mineralization has been located on Canmine Resources’ (CDN) Fer property in northern Manitoba.
The first hole into this zone returned a true width of 3.65 metres grading 1.04% copper, 2.44% zinc, with gold and silver credits. Visual inspection of two stepout holes indicates a continuation of the width and copper-zinc mineralization.
The zone, which begins north of the Main Fer zone and strikes west, is believed to plunge toward the centre of a basin-shaped fold. Stepout holes have traced the zone over a strike length of 300 metres and down-plunge from 120 to 180 metres in depth.
