INSIDER TRADING — Minefinders officers sell shares

Two officers of Minefinders (VSE) sold shares in January and February. Senior officer and director Dale Hendrick exercised 50,000 options at 22 cents and sold 11,500 shares at $2-2.40 to hold 88,500 shares and no options. Senior officer Paul Oulahen exercised 30,000 options at 50 cents and sold 8,000 shares at $3 to hold 25,000 shares and no options.

Other transactions in January and February include: American Barrick Resources (TSE) — Luis Baertl, senior officer, exercised 5,000 options at $18.19 and sold 5,000 shares at $34.63-34.75 to hold no shares and 190,000 options.

Aur Resources (TSE) — Robert Bryce, senior officer, exercised 50,000 options at $3.25 and sold 54,800 shares at $6.50-7.50 to hold 3,200 shares. Black Hawk Mining (TSE) — Garth MacRae, director, was granted 100,000 options at 90 cents to hold 100,000 options.

Breakwater Resources (TSE) — Gordon Bub, senior officer, bought 857,143 shares at 18 cents to hold 857,143 shares.

Black Swan Gold Mines (TSE) — Arthur Fisher, director, exercised 550,000 options at 10 cents and sold 45,000 shares at 19-30 cents to hold 1.6 million shares. He was also granted 950,000 options at 18 cents to hold 1.3 million options.

Caledonia Mining (TSE) — Michael Foster, senior officer, exercised 20,000 options at 25 cents and sold 20,000 options at $2.96-3 to hold no shares. Cathedral Gold (TSE) — Hugh Morris, director, exercised 100,000 options at 60 cents and sold 100,000 shares at $3.55 to hold 85,000 shares and no options.

Goldhunter Explorations (ASE) — Peter Purcell, director and senior officer, exercised 250,000 options at 23 cents, bought 30,000 shares at 18 cents and sold 115,000 shares at 24-26 cents to hold 296,700 shares and 106,029 options. Pangea Goldfields (CDN) — Oliver Lennox-King, officer and director, bought 625,000 shares at 10 cents and was granted 250,000 options at $1.95 to hold 625,000 shares and 250,000 options. J.C.
