Workshop focus on recycling

Toronto will be the site, May 5 and 6, of the Sustainable Development and Recycling Workshop, the first in a series scheduled during the next three years.

The workshops are part of an agreement signed last June by the Canada Centre for Mineral and Energy Technology (CANMET), the main research and development arm of Natural Resources Canada and the Commission of European Communities (CEC).

The agreement allows for the exchange of non-confidential information between CANMET and CEC in the field of metals recycling technology.
