Trimin following different path

Following the sale of its interest in the Hanson Lake copper-zinc deposit near Flin Flon, Man., Trimin Resources (TSE) is moving out of mining and into plastics.

Armed with about $9.5 million in cash, the company has acquired a 50% interest in Uniplast Industries for $1.7 million.

Uniplast, through its plant in Orillia, Ont., manufactures high quality shrink film, laminating film and converting film for premium products such as boutique and fertilizer bags.
