Elenita drilling winds down in Chile

Reverse circulation drilling has been completed on the Elenita oxide copper project near Antofagasta, Chile.

Princeton Mining (TSE) drilled 3,000 metres, including 23 holes, designed to test a series of mantos on the property.

Ore-grade, copper-bearing mantos — within a sequence of thin, bedded andesitic flows dipping at 45 — were identified over an area measuring 400 by 600 metres.

The mineralization remains open to the northwest, southwest and southeast. Drilling was restricted to a depth of about 100 metres and, as a result, the resource also remains open to depth.

Teck (TSE) and Cominco Resources International (TSE) can participate up to a combined 50% interest upon completion of a preliminary feasibility study. Significant results from the first 10 holes are as follows:

Hole Interval Width Copper

ES-1 150-166 16 1.59

ES-2 151-615 5 0.80
