Denver-based Crown Resources (TSE) has applied for exploration rights covering more than 200,000 acres in three provinces of northwestern Argentina.
The ground covers extensions of the two largest known gold trends in South America: El Indio and Maricunga. It was acquired following the examination of satellite anomalies in which major zones of alteration were represented. Crown is conducting field work to analyse the strength of the anomalies and is planning a more extensive program for September.
