NEWS ROUNDUP — Caretech drilling Thunder Lake W.

Results from five holes drilled at the Thunder Lake West project near Dryden, Ont., continue to provide encouragement for Continental Caretech (CDN).

Holes TL-88 and TL-89 intersected the down-plunge extension of the No. 1 oreshoot at a vertical depth of about 940 ft. TL-88 intersected 0.19 oz. gold per ton over a true thickness of 2.9 ft. and Hole TL-89 hit a 31-ft. section that ran 0.07 oz. A second analysis from TL-89, using a pulps-and-metallics procedure, yielded an assay of 0.46 oz. over 51 ft. This included an intercept of 7.32 oz. over a true thickness of 2.9 ft.

Two other holes, drilled to test induced-polarization anomalies northeast of the No. 1 oreshoot, intersected mineralized zones that ran up to 0.12 oz. over 2.6 ft.

Drilling continues.
