QPA Convention set for Sept. 14-16

The 20th annual convention of the Quebec Prospectors Association (QPA) is scheduled for Sept. 14-16 in Val d’Or.

The theme will be “Un Quebec ouvert a l’exploration.” The convention will be organized in such as way as to demonstrate the Quebec government’s support of mining, examples of which include fund-raising facilities, environmental regulations, technical applications and promotional activities. The manager of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team, Serge Savard, has agreed to act as honorary chairman.
