A previous owner of Geonics Ltd. has re-acquired the firm.
Duncan McNeill, along with a senior management team at Geonics, bought shares of the company from Swedish Geological AB, which is operated by the Swedish government.
McNeill sold the company several years ago to the Swedish corporation, which has been selling off commercial holdings following a change in government policy.
Geonics develops instruments for the environmental and exploration markets.
