JKS Boyles lays off 30 at Orillia

A restructuring plan by international equipment manufacturer JKS Boyles recently resulted in the elimination of 30 jobs at the company’s Orillia, Ont., facility.

The Orillia location, which has been designated the official head office, retains a staff of 42. The company’s two North Bay, Ont., plants will become the central manufacturing locations for mining products and drilling equipment.
