Shiningtree buys Manitoba claims

Alberta-listed Shiningtree Resources has bought 34 claims comprising 1,360 acres in southeastern Manitoba.

The claims, situated north of Bernic Lake, are underlain by an east-west-trending structure that features several zones of gold- and pyrite-chalcopyrite-bearing quartz veins. The structure measures 650 ft. wide by 3,200 ft. long.

Preliminary samples from surface have assayed between 0.15 and 1.25 oz. gold per ton. Channel samples have assayed as high as 4.07 oz. over 6 ft. and 1.56 oz. over 4 ft.
