Executive changes at Dickenson, Wharf

The chairman and chief executive officer of Dickenson Mines (TSE) and Wharf Resources (TSE) will become president of the two companies, Dec. 1. Robert McEwen, president of Goldcorp Investments, the controlling shareholder of Dickenson, will replace David Libby, who will resign at the end of November. Libby was named president of Dickenson and Wharf (Dickenson is the controlling shareholder of Wharf) earlier this year.

Appointed vice-president operations of both Dickenson and Wharf is John Cook, formerly vice- president of engineering with LAC Minerals (TSE). Goldcorp Investments (TSE) 9 months ended Sept. 30 Revenue $3,500 $4,200 Net earnings (loss) 1,400 (2,200)
