War Eagle drills La Fortuna

Reverse-circulation drilling on the Mexican silver-gold project La Fortuna has identified two mineralized zones, the Central and the Northwest.

War Eagle Mining (VSE) drilled 29 holes totalling 8,750 ft. and, in the process, outlined a preliminary resource in the two zones at 17.5 million tons grading 21.5 oz. silver and 0.093 oz. gold per ton.

War Eagle can acquire a full interest in the property, situated in Sonora state, through its 99%-owned Mexican subsidiary Minera Aguila Canadiense, for US$2.6 million plus a 2% net smelter return royalty not to exceed US$1.8 million.

A follow-up diamond drill program is planned for the next phase of exploration.
