VenCan moves into central Honduras

Junior VenCan Gold (VCG-M) has acquired an exploration concession, featuring several old workings, near the mining town of El Rosario in central Honduras.

This month, VenCan will map and sample the Opoteca concession in order to establish precious metal targets for a subsequent drill program. Sampling around old workings returned grades of up to 0.04 oz. gold per ton and more than 16 oz. silver per ton. The mineralization occurs as a

quartz-pyrite-gold-silver phase within gently dipping and folded limestone and siltstone units. VenCan hopes to establish an open-pit resource.
