Triex resumes Minnitaki drilling

The discovery of gold anomalies has induced Triex Resources (TIE-V) to carry out a 10-hole, 1,500-metre drill program at its Minnitaki property in the Sioux Lookout region of northwestern Ontario.

Seven holes, spread over a 14-km strike length, will target gold anomalies in quartz-feldspar porphyry intrusives and extrusives on the Minnitaki property.

The remaining holes will fence an intensively altered quartz-feldspar porphyry at the Tak property. Recent grab sampling of existing trenches on the patents found numerous gold anomalies. Last year, 18 grab samples returned an average grade of 1.72 grams gold per tonne.
