The program is testing the strike length of the Aleck Hill zone, which has been extended to at least 990 ft. Six of the seven holes within the zone’s mineralized strike length started and bottomed in mineralization. All the holes are from heavily oxidized saprolitic material, which typically reaches depths of 250 ft. at Aleck Hill.
Results from other holes include: 97 ft. grading 0.12 oz. gold; 46 ft. of 0.034 oz.; 67 ft. of 0.085 oz.; 95 ft. of 0.51 oz.; 75 ft. of 0.025 oz.; and 63 ft. of 0.17 oz.
Other holes tested the zone on a more regional basis. All returned low-grade values, with three exceptions: 112 ft. of 0.031 oz., 87 ft. of 0.074 oz. and 105 ft. of 0.076 oz.
