LATIN AMERICA — NEWS ROUNDUP — Golden Peaks reports encouraging results

Golden Peaks Resources (GL-V) has received encouraging drill results from its Sierra de Las Minas project in northwestern Argentina.

Results for hole 8, drilled to test a mineralized zone on the Vallecito gold target, returned 37 metres grading 1.33 grams gold and 5.35 grams silver per tonne. That intersection included a number of smaller intercepts, including: 8 metres of 3.22 grams gold and 18 grams silver; 5.5 metres of 4.49 grams gold and 23.78 grams silver; 2.5 metres of 9.63 grams gold and 34.94 grams silver, as well as 0.33% copper; and 1.5 metres of 5.23 grams gold.
