Farboro Resources has acquired two properties in northwestern Quebec, the Desboues property covering about 370 ha about 60 km northeast ofLaSarre and the Barry property between Senneterre and Chibougamau.
Several gold showings have been identified on the Desboues property and selected samples from trenching have returned values as high as 3.27, 2.14 and 2.13 oz gold per ton over thicknesses of 4-22 inches.
The Barry property is south of the Bachelor Lake gold area about five kilometres from the recent gold discovery made by Oasis Resources in Souart Twp.
Farboro is preparing a financing to raise about $1.5 million for exploration of the properties.
