Greenstone pleased at Gwillim project

Encouraging results continue to come from the Gwillim gold property near Chibougamau, Que., partners Greenstone Resources, Muscocho Explorations and Flanagan McAdam Resources say. The two latter companies have the right to earn a 50% interest by spending $2 million on exploration.

Hole 10 cut three sections of mineralization. These include 6 ft grading 0.38 oz gold per ton, 29.2 ft grading 0.52 oz and 7.4 ft assaying 0.122 oz. Another hole, No. 14, cut the target zone at a shallow depth. Only one narrow section was intersected, assaying 0.38 oz across1.6 ft. To date, results from six of 27 holes completed have been reported. Assays are expected shortly on the remainder.

The ramp on the property is being extended by 210 ft. Also, a further extension is being planned which will enable the ramp to intersect the B and possibly the C zones.
