A new, one-component, heat-curable epoxy adhesive called Supreme 3ND has been introduced by New Jersey-based Master Bond. The system offers both high shear and high peel strength when cured. Tensile shear strength in excess of 1,800 psi and T-peel strength over 20 pli are readily obtained, the company says. The system is formulated to cure by exposure to a wide range of elevated temperatures, from as low as 212 degrees F. The higher the temperature, the faster the cure.
