WHAT’S NEW MILLING EQUIPMENT En Masse Conveyor

Gerber Industries of Minnetonka, Minn., has designed a conveyor that it says simplifies maintenance and improves ease-of-operation. The en masse conveyor features reduced noise, dust, maintenance and materials damage. Polyethylene return sprockets reduce the risk of chain hang-up and prevent excessive wear by forcing the roller to turn even when clogged with dust, the company says.

Flights, also made of polyethylene, save power, increase protection and result in less wear on the trough, according to the company. Computerized Ore Sorter
