AIGUEBELLE makes new hold discovery near Vezina mine

Aiguebelle Resources has made a new gold discovery on a previously unexplored part of its wholly-owned Bassignac Twp. property in northwestern Quebec about two kilometres southeast of its Yvan Vezina gold mine.

The first hole cut 21 ft grading 0.17 oz gold per ton at a depth of 115 ft.

A second hole drilled 165 ft to the southeast of the original hole cut a gold-bearing zone grading 0.21 oz over 29 ft at a similar depth as the first hole, about 112 ft.

A third hole, drilled 165 ft northeast of the original hole cut a first zone grading 0.13 oz over 8.2 ft at a depth of 210 ft and a second zone of 7 ft grading 0.16 oz at 231 ft.

The company is seeking shareholder approval for a proposed merger with Cambior on a basis equivalent to the cash value of one Cambior share for every 15 Aiguebelle shares.
