Biron Bay stakes north of Summit

Toronto-based Biron Bay Resources (ASE) has staked claims covering 8,000 ft. of strike length immediately north of its Summit project in Grant County, N.M., says President Leonard Taylor.

Encouraged by results of limited drilling of a porphyry structure on the Summit property’s northern boundary, Biron staked the ground to cover possible strike extensions of the mineralization. Completed in February, the drilling returned values ranging from 0.001 oz. to 0.05 oz. gold in disseminated sulphides with associated lead, zinc, copper and silver mineralization.

Biron Bay believes the porphyry zone stretches for 6,000-8,000 ft. along strike.

NovaGold Resources (TSE) holds a 22% interest in the Summit project. The new claims are 100% owned by Biron Bay.
