Bonfortel drilling is encouraging

Drilling at the Bonfortel copper-zinc-silver prospect near Joutel, Que., intersected volcanogenic sulphide mineralization, Consolidated Bonanza Metals (ASE) and Forbex Resources (ME) report.

Five holes drilled by Aur Resources (TSE) tested the newly discovered Fourth Corner sulphide zone on 165-ft. (50-metre) centres to a maximum vertical depth of 500 ft. Among the better intersections was a 6.2-ft. length in hole 16703-10 averaging 1.09% copper, 10.36% zinc and 1.76 oz. silver per ton.

Aur has resumed drilling with a series of widely spaced stepout holes to trace the mineralization to depth and along strike. Bonanza and Forbex say at least 12,000 ft. of follow-up drilling is planned.
