Geomaque gets environmental permits for mine

Toronto-listed Geomaque Explorations has obtained the environmental permits that will enable it to operate the San Francisco mine in Mexico’s Sonora state.

The heap-leach gold mine is being designed as a “zero-discharge operation. Water rights were obtained in early November and site construction will begin in January. Production at an annual rate of 30,000 oz. is expected by mid-1995.
