A contract for engineering and construction management of the concentrator, tailings storage and associated infrastructure at the Troilus gold project north of Chibougamau, Que., has been awarded to SNC-Lavalin of Montreal.
SNC says MinCorp of Denver, Colo., will perform the basic engineering and be in charge of the process expertise.
Metall Mining (TSE) estimates a development cost of $150 million for the project, which also contains copper and silver. The concentrator will be capable of processing 10,000 tonnes of ore per day.
