Cambior drilling at Douay West

Confirmation drilling by Cambior (TSE) at the Douay West gold project near Joutel, Que., has returned some encouraging

intersections.

Property owner Societe d’exploration miniere Vior (ME) reports that hole 3 cut 0.34 oz. gold per ton over 39.2 ft. and that hole 13 intersected 0.24 oz. over 66.9 ft.

Cambior, which is earning a half interest in the project, is drilling to help it decide where to bore a ramp.

Under its agreement with Vior, Cambior can earn its interest by financing development work to the production stage. The partners expect to be producing within four years.

Cambior may decide to process Douay reserves at its 50%-owned Sleeping Giant mining operation near Amos, Que., where excess milling capacity is reported.
