NEVADA SPECIAL — Leader starts drill program at Yellowhorse porphyry

A 5,000-ft. drill program is about to begin at the Yellowhorse gold mine in Clark Cty., south Nevada.

Operator Leader Mining International (LMN-A) says the infill program is aimed at testing the property’s potential for hosting a copper-gold deposit in the range of 50-100 million tonnes.

Yellowhorse is described as an alkali porphyry system that is gold-rich and sulphide-poor, with significant values of platinum, silver and copper. The company says the higher-grade zones typically run 0.02 oz. to multiple ounces of gold per ton, while the syenite porphyry commonly runs 0.005-0.05 oz.
