Wolverine partners release assay results

A drill hole at the newly discovered Lynx zone at the Wolverine project in southeastern Yukon returned a true thickness of 13.8 metres grading 1.82 grams gold and 417 grams silver per tonne, plus 11.08% zinc, 1.15% copper and 1.77% lead.

The project is held jointly by Westmin Resources (WMI-T), with a 60% interest, and Atna Resources (ATN-T), with 40%.

The 13.8-metre-thick interval was a mixed assemblage of massive sulphides and mineralized argillite. Hole 70 was drilled 60 metres northeast of previously reported hole 63, which intersected a true width of 15.6 metres grading 2.15 grams gold and 479 grams silver, plus 11.26% zinc, 0.87% copper and 1.63% lead.

A new resource estimate for the Wolverine deposit, including the Lynx zone, is expected by mid-November.
