Rhonda, Noranda hit lead-zinc at Esker project

Partners Rhonda Mining (RDM-A) and Noranda (NOR-T) have received mixed results from drilling at their Esker base-metal project in the Northwest Territories.

Results ranged from 0.08% lead and 0.97% zinc over 6.40 metres (from 25.6-32 metres) in hole 41 to 1.33% lead and 7.7% zinc over 6.43 metres (from 10.18-16.61 metres) in hole 75. The smallest interval reported was 1.4 metres (from 92-93.4 metres) of 1.95% lead and 0.56% zinc in hole 76. The longest interval was 8.35 metres (from 17.25-25.6 metres) of 4.3% lead and 6.62% zinc in hole 73. Results for another 69 holes are still pending.

Rhonda owns a 60% interest in the Esker project, with the remainder held by Noranda.
