The program will test gold mineralization disseminated in a sub-volcanic rhyodacite. The main zone outcrops over an area of about 1,000 by 400 metres and forms a topographically distinct ridge. Within the exposed area, 37 widely spaced rock samples averaged 1.15 grams gold per tonne, with a high of 3.79 grams. NDT collected the samples, half of which are said to have exceeded 1 gram.
The project is within 20 km of a road and at an elevation of about 3,800 metres. NDT views Antana as prospective for a bulk-tonnage deposit. The company can earn an 80% interest by paying US$1.15 million, spending US$2.25 million on exploration over four years, completing a feasibility study and arranging financing.
