Victoria Island search resumes

Diamond-explorer Major General Resources (MGJ-V) has begun ground geophysical surveys of 20 airborne magnetic anomalies on Victoria Island in Nunavut, in preparation for drilling.

The anomalies were defined by a helicopter-borne survey late in 2000. Fifteen of them occur on the Washburn project, held equally by Major General and Ascot Resources (AOT-V). The other five anomalies are on the Yankee property, in which Hawkeye Gold International (HGO-V) can earn up to a half-interest from Major General.

Savanna Resources (SV-V) has changed its name to Hansa (HSA-V) on a 1-new-for-25-old-share basis.
