A 25,000-ft diamond drilling program is scheduled to start in December on Argentex Resource Exploration’s property in Puiseaux and Orvilliers twps., Que. The drilling will test areas which yielded anomalous gold mineralization in previous work.
Anomalous gold and arsenic values have also been detected in reverse circulation holes completed by Homestake Minerals, on Argentex’s optioned property in Joutel and Aligony twps. to the east. Argentex says that Homestake is planning a major program for 1987.
In the Harker Holloway area, north of Kirkland Lake, Ont., the company has completed a geophysical survey over its property. Inco Ltd. is funding a drilling program on the property.
Financing for the company’s programs will be via a $1-million flow- through share offering.
