I still have 10,000 shares of Young-Shannon Gold Mines held at Hector Chisholm & Co. What chance have they of doing something to get going again? H. A.Kidd, Willowdale, Ont.
The chances don’t look very good at this point. Young-Shannon Gold Mines has not been active for about 10 years and there’s no indication that will change.
In 1976 the Ontario Securities Commission issued a cease trading order. The company’s Ontario charter was cancelled in June, 1980, but was revived a year later.
According to the OSC, the cease trade order remains in effect.
