Over-the-Counter Trading Features (September 22, 1986)

Edda Resources was easier this week, after dipping to 37 cents -42 cents . Last week, the issue was trading over 50 cents . Edda controls some Casa Berardi ground as well as claims in Harker-Holloway and Frecheville twps., north of Kirkland Lake, Ont.

Platinum player Boston Bay Mines, which controls a large undeveloped platinum group metals deposit north of Thunder Bay, Ont., continued easier at $3.75-$4.25. The company, and partner Madeleine Mines, have yet to announce any sort of mine development plan. As a result, both issues are trading sideways in low volumes.

Canper Resources was an active trader, closing at 55 cents -65 cents . The company controls a high grade zinc property in Peru and several claims near Larder Lake, Ont. The company was known as Wadge Mines years ago.

Other active issues this week include Seemar Exploration, up 50 cents to $1.30 and Urbana Corp which added 38 cents to 75 cents . Chelsea Creek Resources was also better, closing at $1.20; up 40 cents for the week. The company has a base and precious metals property near the Winston Lake deposit, north of Schreiber, Ont.
