Moneta Porcupine Mines has acquired a 15-claim property in Blondeau Twp., near Belleterre, Que. The claims include a deposit which was explored by Kelly Lake Nickel Mines years ago.
More than 62,000 ft of drilling completed by Kelly outlined 1.37 million tons of material with nickel, copper and precious metal values to a depth of 900 ft. Moneta plans to study the platinum and gold potential of the sulphide deposit.
