Treminco finds visible gold at N.W.T. bet

Visible gold has been noted in drill core from Treminco Resources’ Gab property in the Northwest Territories. The company recently completed a 2,500-ft drill program in the A zone which followed a gently plunging gold-bearing zone along an open- ended strike length of more than 600 ft. Hole depths ranged from 50-200 ft and early cut assays have been as high as 2 oz gold over 4 ft, says Treminco.

The company confirms that indicated ore reserves have increased 2-3 times and there is good potential on the property. The Gab property is located 52 miles northeast of Yellowknife and encompasses 14 sq mi.

The next stage of exploration will begin this spring and involve a combination of exploration programs to test favorable structures which exist between the A zone and the Cominco “Try me” property three miles to the southeast. If successful, the company may drive a decline into the zone this fall.
