Storimin pulls fine drill hole at Moss Twp.

A big width of ore grade material has been intersected in a rather exciting diamond drill hole put down by Storimin Exploration at its Moss Twp. gold property 70 miles west of Thunder Bay in northwestern Ontario a joint venture project with Tandem Resources.

Hole No 87-22, latest in a 30,000 ft drill program that had to be temporarily halted for the break-up period, intersected 61 ft that averaged 0.17 oz gold per ton, including a 41 ft section running 0.233 oz.

This intersection was encountered from 933 ft to 994 ft. Drilled at 60 degrees, it would be at a vertical depth of about 800 ft, the second deepest intersection to date.

This intersection indicates the possibility of an important new parallel zone, President A. E. Storey tells The Northern Miner.

Drilling during the past summer and winter has already indicated the possibility of over 800,000 tons grading about 0.20 oz in a zone that is over 1,400 ft in length and open both along strike and to depth.

Drilling is expected to resume very shortly, Mr Storey says, and will certainly follow up on this new occurrence, as well as probing the main zone to depth.

Too, there are several other promising targets on this property that will be probed later in this new summer program, which promises to be another substantial one.
