Good grades cut by Onitap in Maritimes

Drilling by Onitap Resources on the East Goldbrook property in Nova Scotia has encountered several zones of gold mineralization. A hole spotted 50 ft west of the old East Goldbrook shaft intersected four mineralized zones.

Assays include 9.9 ft grading 0.29 oz gold per ton, 5 ft grading 0.24 oz and 2.6 ft assaying 0.11 oz. Another section in the same hole assayed 0.53 oz across 2.6 ft.

Assays from a deeper section of the same hole include 4.3 ft grading 0.72 oz, 2 ft grading 0.51 oz and a 9-ft section assaying 0.29 oz. Drilling of the zone suggests it is comprised of stacked belts lying between 171 ft and 500 ft in depth, Onitap says. On the New belt, the zone has been cut by four drill holes across 1,000 ft of strike. Over this distance, the zone averages 9 ft in width and grades 0.21 oz.

At the Boston-Richardson shaft located 150 m east of the East Goldbrook shaft, a drill hole has been started.
