Mineral Resources International reports earnings of $3,581,000, or 23 cents a share for the year ended March 31, compared with a loss of $1,453,000 or 10 cents a share, in the previous year.
Revenue in the latest period was $33,750,000, of which $30,560,000 came from mining operations, against revenue of $31,221,000, ($26,000,000), in the previous year.
At 100%-owned Nanisivik Mines, 7,200 tonnes of lead concentrates were produced in the year ended March 31, and 106,700 tonnes zinc, both figures down from 7,900 tonnes and 106,900 tonnes of lead and zinc concentrates respectively, produced in the previous year.
Mineral Resources had cash and short-term deposits of $9,200,000 as at March 31.
