Kennecott Corp. reborn after RTZ takeover

Kennecott’s largest operation is the Bingham Canyon copper-gold- silver-molybdenum mine near Salt Lake City, Utah. It also has a 52% interest in the Ridgeway mine in South Carolina, a 53% interest in the Greens Creek mine in Alaska, a silver-gold-lead-zinc producer, a 26.4% interest in the Cortez gold mine and a 50% interest in the Alligator Ridge mine, both in Nevada.

Kennco Explorations (Canada) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kennecott.
