A $300,000 exploration program funded by Redfern Resources (TSE) and Cumberland Resources (VSE) returned only low grade zinc and copper values from the Prairie River-Marlhill property near Terrace Bay, Ont. The two associated companies have the right to earn collectively a 45% interest in the property from Noranda Exploration. Eight holes totalling 7,250 ft. were drilled to test several targets during the recent program; however, none of the holes intersected ore-grade values.
