Minnova intersects massive sulphides at Seneca project

High-grade massive sulphides were intersected by Minnova (TSE) over a drilled thickness of 10.5 ft. in a recent hole drilled on the Seneca property near Harrison Mills, in southern British Columbia.

The 10.5-ft. interval from hole S-33 graded an impressive 1.83% copper, 23.3% zinc, 1.71% lead, 4.29 oz. silver and 0.075 oz. gold per ton, and is estimated to be close to the true width.

Minnova optioned the Seneca property in 1990, and can earn a 51% interest from International Curator Resources (VSE) by spending $1.6 million on exploration ($1 million has already been spent) and by making cash payments of $300,000 by 1996. A further 9% can be earned by spending an additional $500,000 by 1998.

Hole S-33 occurs about 1,312 ft. south of the Fleetwood zone which Minnova has been testing on 650-ft. centres. At this stage, it has not been established if the massive sulphide intercept is a southerly extension of the Fleetwood zone, or representative of a separate massive sulphide body.
