Kalahari tests mag anomaly in Quebec

Vancouver-based Kalahari Resources (VSE) recently optioned 1,000 claims in the Eastern Twps. of Quebec from Peter Ferderber and Associates in exchange for 300,000 shares.

The claim group, called the Arogo-Patton property, covers a large circular magnetic anomaly (five miles long and five miles wide).

Using the same theory being tested by Flag Resources (ASE) on the Wanapitei anomaly in northeastern Ontario, Kalahari is examining the property’s potential to host deep-seated polymetallic deposits. A large intrusive body is thought to lie at about 1,500-2,000 ft. below surface.

Kalahari says farmers moving rocks from the fields have turned up float containing 2-10% copper. The source of mineralization has never been found and the anomaly itself has never been drill-tested.
