UN seminar

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Development will host an international seminar Feb. 15-19, 1993, in Harare, Zimbabwe. The seminar is intended to produce guidelines for the development of small- and medium-scale mining enterprises in developing countries, particularly those in Africa.

Participants will exchange views on geological, physical, technical, political, social, legal, economic, environmental and investment conditions. The host country will arrange field trips to mining sites.
